ROMP is Womanizer’s economical line, which includes a solid collection of air pulse and vibrator toys at affordable price points and a great 2-year warranty. As of October 2025, the ROMP Spin is one of their newest releases, and it really delivers (and costs less than $50!)!

Unboxing & Inspection
Packaged in a simple little box with a safety seal, the ROMP Spin is advertised as a fully waterproof air pulse toy with 10 intensities and 3 patterns.
Measuring just about 2.8 inches in diameter, the compact Spin has a swivel cover that hides and protects its air pulse mouthpiece. The cover locks in place with a “click” so that you aren’t fumbling with it during use. I love how unassuming it looks; it could easily blend in with your cosmetics or skincare items because it looks kind of like a compact/mirror, and the swivel cover doesn’t open in an obvious way.
It has a simple button interface, so you just press the +/- buttons for 2 seconds to power on/off and press quickly to cycle through the Spin’s modes.

Spin’s mouthpiece is removeable! I love this for ease of cleaning. It’s got a similar, albeit a little firmer, feel to the Womanizer Premium 2 or the Liberty mouthpieces (but a much lower price point, yay!), and it’s oval shaped (which I tend to prefer over the circular mouth pieces of things like the rose toys). It measures about 3/4″ lengthwise.

One quick note: its charge time/run time ratio is not as favorable as other toys (charge for 120 mins for 45 minutes of play). You’ll know it’s successfully charging if the light on the underside of the Spin is blinking, and it turns solid when it’s fully charged.
Included Documentation
ROMP Spin‘s manual includes instructions on its use, cleaning, charging. An online version of the manual isn’t published yet, but it should appear here soon.

My Experience Using the ROMP Spin
Although I love a good discreet toy, the swivel cover seemed a little gimmicky to me at first. Despite favorable experiences with other ROMP products like the Hype and Shine X, I was cautious about this one. As soon as I unsheathed and powered it on though, I was surprised.
The Spin does actually rival other pricier toys for air pulse strength, not to mention the comfy feel of its slightly flexible and removeable mouth. Our Womanizer rep characterized the Spin as a cheaper alternative to the Womanizer Liberty. While I haven’t personally tried the Liberty yet, I can say that its air pulse power and feel rivals the first 10 intensities of the Womanizer Premium 2. The mouth of the ROMP Spin isn’t quite as fleshy or squishy as the Premium 2’s, but for reference, it’s the same size and shape as the larger mouth that comes with the Premium 2.
It’s also about as loud as the Premium 2, coming in around 40dB by my measurements. For a travel-friendly toy, this is something to note. It’s not LOUD, but it’s not completely discreet.
The ROMP Spin has 10 continuous air pulse intensities followed by 3 preset patterns, which I’ve described below. Once you reach the third and final pattern, you have to press the “-” button to cycle back down the patterns; it’s not on a loop. This has its advantages; it forces a subtle downshift instead of a jarring downshift because you work “down” from previous modes. On the other hand, if you’re like me, you may find yourself fruitlessly mashing the “+” button until you become accustomed to this, haha…
The patterns are:
1. Rise and fall
2. 1 low & 2 high pulses, repeating
3. Longer cycle of several quick pulses that increase in frequency with shortening pauses in between, repeating
With the ROMP Spin, I tend to work with the lower intensities and don’t use the patterns much because they’re “farther” away from the modes I like (see paragraph above; the modes don’t loop). This is fine though; the Spin is adequately powered for me even at its lower modes, and the slightly firmer mouth seems to enhance its play a bit. If you are someone who is more sensitive, you may want to look at the We-Vibe Melt 2 or Biird Namii for more options for nuanced, gentler air pulse stimulation. The Spin is on the slightly stronger end of the spectrum.
If I do work my way up to the patterns, I have to bypass intensities 7 or 8 through 10, which are typically too strong for me. This means I have to remove the toy from my skin entirely! I like the first two patterns best, with the third pattern being a little too chaotic for me personally. I appreciate that the patterns don’t have longer than necessary pauses… (but that’s just me!). Being a budget toy, the Spin’s patterns are limited and do not have adjustable intensities.
The swivel cover really needs to be locked before use, and this takes a pretty firm “click” to lock in place. As such, it doesn’t really have an ergonomic handle, which could present accessibility issues for some. Because of its shape, it lends itself best to solo play or partner play where you have a little extra space between bodies. The swivel cover also makes the Spin suitable for travel, since it covers the buttons and prevents from accidentally turning on while in transit.

Final Thoughts
The ROMP Spin is a compact, discreet air pulse clit toy with adequate power (may be slightly over-powered for some users) at a reasonable price point. Plus, it is fully waterproof, has 3 preset patterns, and a swivel cover for easy storage and travel protection. There are many perks to this cute little thing. especially considering its 2-year warranty and price point under $50!
However, it’s worth mentioning that the Spin isn’t the quietest toy out there, measuring approximately 41-43dB in my experience. It’s only got about 45 mins of run time (on high) from a single charge, and its swivel lid may present challenges for folks needing a more ergonomic handle or for those hoping to use it during penetrative sex. Still an all-around great air pulse toy!
