Are your products safe?
We sell 100% safe products. We take pride in only offering higher quality toys because we want you to feel confident with every purchase you make on HappyBed. Here are our standards for considering body-safe product materials:
Silicone – Silicone is the most popular safe material because it is soft and non-porous. As long as it is regularly cleaned and is not used with a silicone-based lube, it will remain safe and last a very long time.
Platinum Cured Silicone – A type of silicone that is created when Platinum is added to the liquid mixture before curing. In addition to making the material stronger and more tear-resistant, it allows for products with finer details and more translucent colors. There is no safety distinction between regular silicone and platinum cured silicone.
Stainless Steel – Stainless steel is the primary material used in medical devices because it is non-porous and able to withstand high temperatures to fully disinfect. Unfortunately, inexpensive and knockoff products are commonly labeled as stainless steel but are actually chrome-plated metal that will likely flake off. This is why we only sell stainless steel products from reputable brands and through authorized distributors.
Glass – Glass is the least expensive, non-porous material. While some glasses are more durable than others, they’re all safe to use. The only thing consumers need to be careful of is small chips or cracks that may be difficult to see with your eye but will cause tears or irritation with use.
Hard plastic (referred to as ABS Plastic) – Plastics can be a tricky material to determine the safety of due to additives like phthalates that can be harmful. And since the industry is unregulated, many companies deceptively mislabel their plastic in an effort to drive down product costs. We look for plastics labeled as ABS and from reputable manufacturers.
TPE – TPE Is a silicone-like material that, by itself, is body-safe. However because it is porous, it is not possible to be fully cleaned and will eventually grow bacteria and mold on and below the surface. For this reason, we characterize TPE as unsafe if the product is used for insertion into the body or to come in contact with bodily fluids that will be. When used externally as a masturbator and properly cleaned and dried after each use, TPE from reputable manufacturers can stay free from bacteria and mold-free for 12-24 months. It is important to inspect TPE-based masturbators before each use for any odors or discoloring of the material.
HappyBed considers the following materials as unsafe: jellies, rubbers, soft plastics whether or not they are labeled with phthalates, other plastics like PVC or Vinyl, products with proprietary material labels, and transparent silicones (hint: there are no transparent silicones).

How does your free shipping work?
We know you are excited to receive your delivery, so we generally ship orders same day if placed before 1 PM CST, Monday-Friday. We pick shipping methods designed to arrive within 1-3 days to the contiguous United Status, but unplanned carrier or weather delays may occur.
