Unboxing & Inspection
The Biird Gii Glow (and Biird toys, generally) comes in an adorable package with vibrant and playful illustrations. It’s available in a light purple and teal color, both with pretty iridescent handles.
The inner box includes easy how-to instructions, along with a cute zipper storage bag, some iron-on patches, USB charging cable, and a printed user manual. You can find a digital copy of the Biird Gii’s user manual here.
My Experience with the Biird Gii Vibe
In my hand, the Gii feels surprisingly lightweight (it weighs like .17 lbs, seriously). Its shaft is firm and rigid, so if you’re into more squishy, flexible toys, this isn’t it. I lowered my expectations slightly when I picked up the Gii because I felt like its lightweight, rigid feel might translate to cheapness. I powered it on and was proven wrong.
The Biird Gii is rumbly but not in a thumping way, more in a bouncy way. Its patterns offer a range of sensations, from slower crescendo-type pulses to a 3-beat massage setting. The speeds are easily and effectively adjusted by either clicking or holding down the +/- buttons, depending on whether you want an incremental or gradual change. This is a nice feature, and again one that I didn’t expect because of the look/feel of the buttons. They appear to be ABS/plastic, and different from the material surrounding them.
One drawback of the button situation is that they are located exactly where I prefer to rest the base of my thumb during use. Since becoming accustomed to resting my thumb at the very end of the handle, this wasn’t an issue, but I’ve inadvertently pressed the power button several times when I mean to lower the vibe speed and made a few other mis-fingerings. Not a HUGE deal, but still.
Here’s an overview of the patterns, each with a range of 8 intensities:
1- vibration
2- crescendo pulse
3- quicker crescendo pulse
4- medium crescendo pulse
5- 4 quick pulses/1 long pulse alternating
6- strong quick pulse (pairs nicely with Womanizer Rose’s 7th mode)
7- quick pulse/rest alternating
8- one quick, one long pulse alternating
9- quick 3-beat massage
*Bliss mode– quick tap the main button twice if you’re overstimulated and need to quickly revert back to the lowest intensity of the current pattern.
As mentioned above, the Gii isn’t rumbly in a typical thumping way, but more in a purring, “finessed” kinda way. Now, I do think this will register as buzzier on some folks’ scales, but for me, it isn’t straight up buzzy.
I was pleased that minimal vibration transmits to my fingers – another plus! In my explorations with the Gii, I really like using it internally along with the Womanizer Rose externally. These two toys have a pattern that just about syncs up with each other (6th for Gii and 7th mode, or first pattern for the Womanizer Rose), and it’s an incredible way to enjoy both toys. *Plus, I love taking the removeable head off the Womanizer Rose for more broader clit stim, mmm!
The Gii’s head has a gently sculpted and hooked bulbous tip. This feels amazing as I work myself up, nestling it right at the base of my clit, hugging me with its curve. The shaft is firm (NO flex), and the silicone doesn’t have any give to it like the ROMP Hype, We-Vibe Rave 2, or similar products.
All put together, the shape and feel of the Gii can be enjoyable for either someone needing more firm yet broad g-spot pressure, or for someone exploring their g-spot and how to reach it. On top of that, it makes a great external wand with its deep, purring vibrations and a firm shaft for getting the perfect leverage and pressure on your clit.
I especially love how quiet the Biird Gii is, registering just barely 29dB from 10 ft away. It’s undetectable from the next room, and it’s completely undetectable in the shower (waterproof, yay!).
To activate the travel lock, hold down the + and – buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds until you see a red light (indicates travel lock on). Do the same to turn off travel lock (you’ll see a white light).
Final Thoughts
The Biird Gii honestly surprised me with its purring rumbles and thoughtful shape and rigidity. Given its design and how lightweight it is, I was initially prepared for a buzzy ride… but it offers more than that. I love how QUIET it is (much quieter than the popular Pillow Talk Sassy G-spot Vibe). And waterproof?! Yes please!
